Marjolein Hendriks
Marjolein believes that real change never starts with a quick fix. In her work and in her own life, she discovered that sustainable transformation emerges from awareness, intrinsic motivation, and leadership. Leadership that is willing to look at the difficult, sometimes painful parts as well. Not only what is visible, but especially what lies beneath the surface.
This conviction was shaped by years of experience within large organizations and consultancy environments, including Ernst & Young. There, she saw how often change is approached as something that needs to be implemented quickly. For Marjolein, that never felt right. From a cyclical leadership perspective, she sees change as a movement that unfolds: sometimes it calls for initiative, sometimes for slowing down and moving with what presents itself. She believes that real movement only arises when people and organizations are willing to look honestly in the mirror. From this belief, she consciously chose independent entrepreneurship and collaborations that share the same depth and intention.
The connection with Allied Forces therefore emerged naturally. Not from a preconceived plan, but from a shared vision and way of working. Guiding people and organizations toward alignment between head, heart, and gut feels like a natural foundation for collaboration to her. Chemistry and shared values are, for Marjolein, essential conditions for making impact.
In her work, Marjolein combines an anthropological, systemic, and change-oriented perspective with a strongly developed sense of feeling and intuition. She looks at patterns, dynamics, and underlying structures in people, teams, and organizations. This perspective helps her work not only on what is happening, but especially on what is truly needed. She guides organizations, leaders, and teams through transformation processes, with attention to both the visible and the invisible. Safety, honesty, and presence form the foundation of her work.
Marjolein believes that transformation requires congruence. She guides others only where she herself is also willing to look. It is precisely this authenticity that allows people to feel safe enough to face themselves. From that safety, space emerges for growth, healing, and new leadership. Leadership that is mature, conscious, and connected to oneself and the surrounding world.
Outside of her work, Marjolein is an adventurer. She loves to travel and to immerse herself in different cultures and tribes to learn about leadership, rituals, and human behavior. Each year, she embarks on an anthropological journey to very remote regions and communities. Dancing, especially salsa, gives her energy and playfulness. She enjoys cooking, culinary challenges, and long evenings with good food and wine. Nature is an important place for her to recharge and reconnect with what truly matters.
Her conviction is clear: transformation does not begin with big steps, but with one clear decision. The decision to return to who you truly are, as a person or as an organization. From there, movement that truly fits can emerge.
