Jochem Koole

As Marketing Lead at Allied Forces, Jochem is exactly where he belongs. He enjoys working with experts who are exceptionally strong in their field but could use support in clarifying their story and increasing their visibility. For him, marketing is not about persuasion or pushing it is about trust, relationships, and direction. He believes real impact is created when marketing, leadership, and culture are aligned, and when people do work that fits who they are and what gives them energy.

Outside of work, Jochem’s life revolves around his family. He is the father of two daughters who largely shape his schedule and priorities. He also exercises regularly, going to the gym and having recently discovered padel as a new challenge. Traveling energizes him, especially when he explores places he has never visited before. What drives him, both personally and professionally, is the desire to move people toward work and choices that truly suit them.

Jochem studied Communication Sciences in Groningen out of a deep interest in how communication can inspire movement in people. He wanted to understand how stories influence what people think, feel, and do. That curiosity remains at the core of his work to this day. He believes that movement always begins with truly understanding who is in front of you and where someone stands at that moment.

And although his university years were more than 20 years ago, two experiences from that time have shaped him ever since. He worked in a video rental store, where he interacted daily with people from diverse backgrounds. That customer-focused environment taught him the importance of attention and service. He was also involved in improvisational comedy, combining working within a structured format with flexibility and creativity. That interplay between structure and freedom is something he still applies in his work today.
