Werner Kool
Werner brings a wealth of experience as an interim manager, trainer, and coach. Throughout his career, he has supported organizations and teams in leadership development, change management, and performance improvement through a calm, thoughtful, and egalitarian approach. With his extensive practical experience, he effortlessly connects theory and practice, helping people move forward step by step.
For Werner, challenges are not obstacles to avoid but opportunities for growth, a conviction that was further strengthened by a unique personal adventure. He completed the Pacific Crest Trail on his own, crossing the wilderness of the United States from California to Canada. This long journey taught him how to deal with discomfort, perseverance, and self-reflection in a way that he deeply integrates into his work. He uses the lessons from this journey to inspire others to push their own boundaries and broaden their perspectives with confidence.
Werner believes in attention to the individual and the power of genuine connection. In training and coaching settings, he works from a place of equality and respect, using humor and self-deprecation where appropriate. He challenges participants to stay sharp, make use of their talents, and make conscious choices that help them move forward.
Within a team or organization, Werner focuses on creating openness, trust, and a safe learning environment in which people dare to experiment and grow. His approach helps leaders and teams not only gain new insights, but also truly translate those insights into concrete actions and results.
Outside of his work, Werner deliberately seeks out challenge. He enjoys spending time in nature, taking long treks, and traveling in ways that take him out of his comfort zone. These experiences give him space to reflect and gain new perspectives. Exchanging stories and insights with others is an important part of learning and development for him. Werner sees development as something that is never finished: by continuing to move, experience, and reflect, direction, meaning, and lasting impact emerge.
